My strategy doesn't align with that of my potential investor

I am entering a new market, which is an aggregation play. The market is highly fragmented and geographically diverse. There are some aggregators already in the market, but they are all losing money. My strategy is different and will be better in the long-term.

I pitched my first investor and he was interested in investing if I did what the competition is doing – chase volume at any cost. I explained why my strategy was better in the long-term, but he wasn’t interested. His terms were reasonable.

Do I take the offer and follow the competition? Do I take the offer and follow my strategy? Do I reject the offer and wait until I find an investor interested in my strategy?
